Big matches this week

Arlington 1  @ Valley View 1 : (Tuesday)  Arlington has gone 4-0-1 since its last loss which was to Valley View. Though a win for Arlington will not put them into first it sure would help in their chances for the playoffs.

South Hill 0 @ Claremont 3: (Wednesday)  South Hills just fell off the polls after holding in the polls for the past five weeks. This is a big game for them. A win would put them in a tie with Claremont for 1st place of the Sierra League.


Damien 0  @ Claremont 2: (Friday) Damien is tied for 2nd place in the Sierra League knocking off South Hills 5-1 in its match after falling to Claremont 2-0  in its first meeting. Last season Damien and Claremont were co-Sierra League champions.

2011 Division 2 CIF Champions, This season took 3rd place in the Rancho Cucamonga Tournament losing a game in the tournament to current Div 2 #1 rated Valley View 2-0. Runner up in the Upland Tournament, losing to Div 3 #1 rated Fontana 2-1. Have talent across the field. A smaller team physically than coach FBO has had in many years but speed to burn.

Head Coach: Kevin Watson
Preseason #6. A ranking based on last years semi final finish in Div2. A rebuilding year for Coach Watson, but knowing that still had his team playing against competitive teams. 3 of his first 4 losses were to MLK, Claremont & Valley View all of whom have shared part of the number 1 ranking in Divsion 2 CIF. Arlington players are again healthy and has now won four matches in a row.
